This was an awesome one! Definitely ONE OF THE BEST so far! This is just a few of the good ones. Check out the facebook to see the full extent of the hat madness! Simone wore the sparkly red sequinned cowboy hat to her uni lectures and got some well funny looks. OH THE JOY. For this we had an out pouring of responses... on twitter... on mobile phones... facebook. Creating an event out of it was a good idea. It got way more people involved! It's good to meet new people... especially in good hats :D
This is our attempt at mime! Sorry it is sooooo embarrassingly crap! Hope you have a giggle anyways. We couldn't make it to the international mime festival in London due to lack of funds and other celebratory commitments. :( gutted!
This is an effort from our twitter campaign to promote penguin awareness day... that actually wasn't penguin awareness day! Damn it! Got mixed up. So only a mini half celebration... but a celebration none the less. Practice for the real day on the 20th.... to good times!
This is Swami Vivenkananda! A very prolific religious figure *cough* maybe a bit of a reach this one... however he does look like one of our good friends.
This was a pretty low key celebration! We did some Amelia colouring in and generally learnt about her life. Very interesting stuff... though don't quiz us on it!
This was such another fun one to celebrate! Though we couldn't actually physically save an eagle we decided to make people aware of how to save an eagle and why they should! So we created some awesome save the eagle posters and posted them in our local area. The library. Oxfam. Bus stops. Trees. A local organic food shop! We also wrote a letter to Mr. Obama explaining the plight of the eagle....
We are awaiting a response!
There is also a save the eagle song.... GOOGLE IT. hilarious!
We're not sure if this really is national but we celebrated it any way. We did a series of mini experiments in celebration of national static electricity day. lol. It was quite fun!
